Deel and Rippling both let you hire abroad without your own company, but they sell it differently. Deel publishes a starting price for each product. Rippling is an HR, payroll and IT platform that quotes EOR as part of a bundle. Here's how they compare, from each company's own pages, as of Oct 2026.

Deel: worth knowing

  • Published starting prices for every product, so you can budget before a sales call.
  • Month-to-month pricing, and you can cancel anytime (local notice and severance rules still apply).
  • Big EOR country list (130+ on its pricing page).
  • Add-ons such as recruiting (from $14 per worker per month) if you want them on the same platform.

Rippling: worth knowing

  • One system for US and global HR, payroll, devices and apps. Rippling says every customer uses its HRIS.
  • EOR, contractors and payroll are all quote-based, so you can't compare on price until you have a quote.
  • Says EOR payroll runs 5 days to payday in popular markets, 12 days in less common ones.
  • Startup program: eligible US VC-backed startups can get free access for 6 months.

Who each is best for

  • Pick Deel if you want published prices, month-to-month terms and wide EOR coverage without buying a full HR suite.
  • Pick Rippling if you already run, or plan to run, US payroll and HR on Rippling and want overseas hires in the same system.
  • For a first one or two offshore hires, get a written quote from both and compare the total monthly cost, including any platform fee, not just the EOR line.
Operator's note

EOR or your own entity?

Whichever platform you pick, an EOR swaps entity setup, local payroll and compliance work for a per-person fee. For a first few hires, or to test a city, that trade is usually worth it. Once a team is stable and you're sure you're staying, price out your own entity against the EOR fees. Deel and Rippling both also run payroll for your own entity, so you can make that switch later without changing systems.
