Philippines employer compliance calendar: what's due and when

Last checked: October 29, 2026

General information only, not legal, tax or payroll advice. Deadlines follow the official sources linked on each line; when a deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, check the agency's rule for that item. Confirm with your payroll provider or accountant before you file.

The short version

  • Every month an employer in the Philippines files and pays withholding tax on compensation (BIR Form 1601-C) and remits SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions. Each agency sets its own due date. [S1][S3][S4][S5]
  • BIR 1601-C: on or before the 10th of the following month; eFPS filers: later, staggered deadlines (see note). December's return is due January 15 for non-eFPS filers. [S1]
  • SSS: the last day of the month after the applicable month. [S3]
  • PhilHealth: the 11th–15th (employer number ending 0–4) or 16th–20th (ending 5–9) of the following month. [S4]
  • Pag-IBIG: Pag-IBIG moved employer remittances to Virtual Pag-IBIG (eSRS) with a new name-based schedule in 2026 (HDMF Circular No. 499). Check your window on the official circular. [S5]
  • Year-end: 13th-month pay by December 24; DOLE compliance report (January 15 last year; check the 2026 advisory); BIR annual information return (1604-C) by January 31, which moves to Mon, Feb 1, 2027 this cycle because Jan 31 is a Sunday. [S1b][S2][S6][S8]
